As a retailer in Central Utah, we choose to sell Champion Homes out of Weiser ID. Although your site is geared toward Champion Genesis, Customers look at this site and are flabbergasted by what is said. It pays to do your homework when making any major purchase such as a home. As of this date, Champion Enterprises has 38 factories producing 1,000’s of homes each year. As a retailer, I have tried the Champion/Redman product built in Chandler AZ. The quality and factory service was not up to our operating standards, thusly, we buy our product somewhere else. Each Champion/Redman facility is independent with both design and quality standards. All Champion/Redman homes should not be compared with each other outside their own facility. All homes will experience problems of one kind or another, remember that we’re dealing with man made products from your $30,000 single section home clear up to the manufactured home that sold for 2 million dollars a little over a year ago in Southern California. You may have floor squeaks, you may have water leaks you may have imperfections in the drywall finish. All these and many other problems can be easily resolved. I get the feeling that several of the homes mentioned on this site were purchased wholesale and installed by the customer’s contractor who did inadequate installations. If you’re looking for an inexpensive home with no follow – up service or accountability – then wholesale is probably the way for you to go – on the other hand – if you want a quality built home – do your homework, spend a little more money and buy your home from a reputable retailer with references. Bottom line – you get what you pay for. Reply to this
